Dr. Ed Gilsleider is a 1982 graduate from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife, Lisa, moved to Claremore in May 1982, and never left!

They have raised all four of their children here and are now treasuring their time with grandchildren. There has never been anything else Dr. Gilsleider wanted to do but practice veterinary medicine.

Dr. Jacquelyn Boehm

Dr. Jacquline Boehm is a 2014 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband are originally from McLoud, Ok. She has been practicing small animal medicine in Claremore for six years. Her interest include small animal medicine, dentistry, preventative care and client education. When not in the clinic, she and her husband enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family. Together they have two young boys and three cats. 

Dr. Michelle Hand grew up in Nicut, OK on a small family farm. She moved to Stillwater for her Bachelor's and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 before graduating from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ 2024. She enjoys small and large animal medicine & surgery as well as client education, animal welfare and herd health. Dr. Hand's hobbies include fishing, racing Sport Compacts, spending time with family, playing video games with her children and doing pretty much anything outdoors. She has four children, three dogs, two cats and plans to extend her family with farm animals.

Dr. Makayla Threde is a 2025 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband are originally from California but moved to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, where her husband was stationed with the US Navy.  She enjoys small and large animal medicine and has strong interests in herd health and preventive medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Threde loves to spend time with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs. Her hobbies include horseback riding, scuba diving, baking, paddleboarding, and anything involving the lake. Dr. Threde can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

Autumn, RVT has been a part of AMC since 2009, and received her RVT license in 2010 after graduating from TCCs Veterinary Technology Program. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Jason and daughter Ruby, flower gardening, riding horses with Ruby, and spending time with her labradors.

Rebecca is an AMC receptionist. She has worked with AMC since February 2019. She enjoys her Australian Shepherds, and raising Quarter Horses. She loves spending time with husband and two children, friends and family!

Becky was born & raised in OK and graduated from NEO A&M; and OSU. She has since moved back from Johnson, KS where she worked in a veterinary hospital for 7 years. She is married with 2 sons and a daughter. They share their home with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish. She enjoys watching her children participate in athletics and FFA events, reading, and watching OSU football & basketball. GO POKES!

Morgan, RVT has been a member of AMC since 2020. She enjoys raising her two children Memphis and Bryce with her husband Austin. When they aren't running around with their two kids they are running around after their four dogs. Morgan enjoys small animal medicine while dabbling in large animal. Her favorite thing is client education especially when it comes to new puppy or kitten wellness' to start your family on the right foot. She is always eager to meet new faces and make you smile.

Megan is a 2010 graduate from Tulsa Community College Veterinary Technician Program. She, her husband and 2 kids moved from Broken Arrow, OK to Claremore July of 2021. She has a passion for all animals - large, small and exotic. She and her husband have been married since 2007 and have 2 kids. Along with 2 dogs, 4 cats and 10 chickens. On her off days she likes to spend time with her family, playing games with her kids, caring for her animals and spending time outside.

Elving graduated from OSU in 2021 with a BS in biology. He has been working at AMC while pursuing his goals to become a DVM. During his free time he enjoys family time, reading, and woodworking. 

Kiara joined the AMC team in June of 2022. She completed her veterinary technician training at TCC's veterinary technology program in May of 2022. She has also completed her bachelors in Animal Science from OSU. In her spare time she enjoys reading, horseback riding, spending time with her dogs: Beau and Daisy, and traveling back home to Chickasha, OK to help out at her family farm.

Samantha grew up on a small ranch in Colorado, recently married and is currently continuing her education to become an RVT at TCC. She enjoys small and large animal medicine, building her own farm and helping her family with their draft horse business.
